The NCC is committed to promote professional and effective interventions for the protection and safety of children so that they can realize their full potential in a society, which respects their rights and dignity, as laid down in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), which has been ratified by the Government of Seychelles.

It is an honour to take on the responsibility of leading the National Council for Children and to become part of an organisation that has served the children and families of Seychelles for many years.
As I begin this journey, one thing is very clear to me, our children must remain at the heart of everything we do.
Our responsibility goes beyond protecting children. We must also empower them with the confidence, knowledge, skills and support they need to face the world around them.
And that world is changing.
The realities our children face today are different, and they will continue to change. As an organisation, we must be prepared to change with them. This means listening more, looking honestly at what we do, strengthening what works and being willing to rethink what no longer meets the needs of our children and families.
My vision is to build on the work and foundation of NCC while continuing to move the organisation forward. I want NCC to be visible, accessible and connected to the children, families and communities we serve.
But this work belongs to all of us. NCC cannot do it alone. It takes families, schools, communities, professionals and partners working together to create an environment where our children can feel safe, supported and empowered.
When we empower our children, we strengthen our families. When we strengthen our families, we strengthen our communities. And when our communities are stronger, so is our nation.
I look forward to listening, learning and working with you as we take NCC forward together.

Our Programmes
NCC provides exceptional, quality counselling and psychological support services to individuals, families and institutions in the country.
Our sessions empower children and their families to deal with everyday challenges such as grief and bullying, using life-applicable tools. Seminars, workshops and trainings can be conducted in-house or at requested locations, while counselling care and consultations are held daily in-house.
Our advocacy and training sections responds to changes and needs of the society through integrated media programmes that follows ethics and standard set for such institutions.
